*All of our courses are approved by the California Department of Real Estate, as offered through correspondence study under Golden Hyde Real Estate Center (DRE Sponsor #S0123)*To obtain a real estate salesperson and/or a broker license, you must first qualify for and pass a written examination. Applicants must satisfy the mandatory educational curriculum to qualify for a written examination with the Department of Real Estate.Salesperson Licensing InformationAge: You must be 18 or older to be issued a license. Residence: If you are not a California resident, please go to http://dre.ca.gov/Examinees/OutOfState.html. Honesty: Applicants must be honest and truthful. Conviction of a crime may result in the denial of a license. Failure to disclose any criminal violation or disciplinary action in an applicant's entire history may also result in the denial of a license.
